Responsibilities:
Consumer Insights: Use market research to understand customer needs and preferences, and adapt brand strategies accordingly
Brand Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy to build and strengthen Distacart’s brand equity
Brand Communication: Oversee the development of brand messaging and narratives that resonate with diverse audiences across all touch points
Brand Campaigns: Lead the creation and execution of brand campaigns, including video ads, that align with Distacart’s core values and connect with our core audience
Team Leadership: Lead the Social Media and Content teams, providing direction and mentorship, ensuring content aligns with the brand's vision
Video Production Oversight: Manage agency and support the Video Editor on the team to produce high-quality video content for brand-building initiatives and performance-driven campaigns
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with design, marketing, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all customer touchpoints
Online Reputation Management (ORM): Help CS team to manage Distacart’s online reputation, addressing customer feedback, managing reviews, and maintaining a positive brand image across all digital channels
Skills & Qualifications:
5 years of proven experience in brand management, ideally in e-commerce or lifestyle sectors.
Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and consumer psychology
Experience leading and mentoring teams, particularly in social media, content, and video production
Proficiency in video content creation and strategy, especially in the context of brand-building and paid marketing campaigns
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand-building
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
