Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development / Sales Manager to spearhead brand partnerships for one of our key products. This role requires a strategic thinker who understands the D2C brand ecosystem in India and can establish strong relationships with CXOs and leadership teams across the retail and D2C industries. If you have a passion for brand engagement and a knack for building high-impact partnerships, this is the opportunity for you

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate, and close new business opportunities through direct engagement with brand partners

  • Develop and implement scalable business development strategies, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal execution

  • Build and nurture relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive results

  • Leverage market data and insights to make data-driven business decisions

  • Expand and strengthen a professional network to unlock new business opportunities

  • Stay adaptable in an ever-evolving business landscape and continuously refine sales approaches

  • Demonstrate persistence and resilience in overcoming challenges and securing deals

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years of experience OR

  • Tier 2 MBA with 4-6 years' experience in business development at leading e-commerce, D2C, retail, or FMCG companies

Skills
  • Proven track record in lead generation and exceeding conversion targets

  • Strong expertise in pipeline tracking and deal execution through the entire sales cycle

  • Hands-on experience in business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business

  • Ability to engage and influence senior management and executive-level stakeholders

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical abilities
